In our latest series of videos and blog posts, we're back with another tour of a bespoke kitchen in Ilkley for a young family. This kitchen not only was a team favourite but also a client favourite with so much interest and comments.
The client wanted a modern but minimal kitchen space for their growing family. As part of a large house renovation, we worked closely with the client and builder to create this beautiful kitchen and utility space. The doors are our handle-less painted finish from Callerton. There are in Midnight Blue with a black handle-less tracking. Because of the long length of this kitchen, the handle-less option works perfectly to create long lines throughout the kitchen drawing your eye as you look into the space.
The worktops are Callacutta Gold Quartz in a 30mm thickness from Silestone. These feature an upstand and bevelled soft edge throughout including the island. Integrated drainer grooves for the sink were added for the under-mounted sink bowl. The light colour of the marble effect contrasts greatly with the dark blue cabinetry.
All the appliances and fittings are from Bosch and Franke. The cabinets feature a combination of pull-out larders, integrated bins and bespoke storage in the island.
