The Wharfedale Process

One of our friendly designers will visit your home, bringing brochures, samples, and examples for you to look through. This is where we get to know you and what you’re looking for but most importantly the issues you’re facing with your current room. Whether it’s design, practicality or lack of storage, they will discuss ideas, potential designs and what your dream space looks like. On this visit we will also measure your space and design how to maximise the storage for you.

Using our state-of-the-art software we will show you both 2-d and 3-d perspectives of your room to give you an accurate idea of what your new kitchen and fitted furniture will look like. We will also show you our displays where you can see, touch, and play with the beautiful wardrobes, beds, furniture and kitchens. You can take inspiration from our several showcase reels of previous work and designs to help you choose your perfect living space.

Once you have placed your order with us, your project manager will visit your home to double-check all the measurements and details. This is where we confirm every detail of your design and how it will work once installed. This will then be sent to our workshop manager and factory to be commissioned.

Our workshop manager and his team of master craftsman and cabinet makers will start to manufacture your furniture in our purpose-built facility in Ilkley. Any upholstery, bespoke beds and headboards are sent to our skilled upholsterers. Every detail and part of your furniture is quality checked by the workshop manager.

Usually the day before the installation starts, our delivery team will come to your home with the materials, appliances, and accessories. They will ensure your installer has everything they will need to ensure no delays or time wasted.

Our experienced installer will arrive and start expertly cutting and fitting your furniture into your room. Your dedicated project manager will also be there to ensure the installer has everything they need and to talk you through the process. We will work around any existing room features, skirting boards, and contours to create a flush fit. Once completed, one of the managers will meet you to quality check every detail and ensure you’re satisfied with the finish.
