In our latest series of videos and blog posts, we're going through some of our latest kitchen and bedroom projects across the UK. We will share images, discuss design features and give lots of advice as always which hopefully will benefit you or give you some ideas for your own kitchen or bedroom space.
So in today's post, we are walking through an apartment renovation in Leeds for a client of ours. This is one of our favorite kitchens we've done not because it's a large space but because we just love the classic combination of colours in this kitchen.
The brief was modern but instead of going down the route of a handle-less design, we chose a modern and sleek handle and placed them horizontally and match all the base units with this. The doors are still a slab/flat style for simplicity and the interiors are all in Lancaster oak for a luxury feel when opening the cabinets.
The colours work perfectly with the oak flooring. The base cabinets are our much-loved Fjord, with a matt finish. This colour is a 'greeny-blue' typically from our Scandi collection of kitchens. We wanted to make the space feel bigger and brighter so we made the wall cabinets pure white for a contrast but also to mirror the worktop for a light and airy feel to the kitchen area.
The tiles are ceramic white with a herringbone style and pattern for further contrast and detail. Appliances throughout are Bosch and the sink and taps are all from Franke. The worktop is a 30mm thick quartz worktop with an Arris edge and under-mount sink with drainer grooves.
