The client wanted a country style kitchen with traditional features and cornices which would complement the style of the home. After recently adding large bi-folding doors, they wanted a light and airy space.
The Solution
Our focus on this project was the storage issue, even though it was a large room, prior to our work, it was an awkward space for furniture, and they did not have enough storage.
We took inspiration from the bi-folding doors which were in a graphite grey and provided a fantastic amount of natural light to the room. Because of the light, we opted for a darker tone of grey to match and create a colour theme and palette around the windows and doors.
We designed an elongated sliding bedroom wardrobe in a Napoli Graphite grey with a matt finish.
We added a mirrored panel to section the wardrobe and bounce the natural light throughout the room.
We also customised the wardrobe interior to add a full-length mirror on the carcase back, so they would not have to purchase an expensive freestanding mirror. The sliding wardrobe had soft close finishes, aluminium tracking, and brush seals throughout for a seamless open and close.
We also built and installed matching bedside tables and shelves which matched the feature wallpaper in the room.
