Bespoke Home Office with Solid Oak Worktop and Light Grey Cabinets

The Brief

After having several fitted furniture companies and joiners visit to quote, the customer approached Wharfeale Interiors to come up with their perfect home study.

They wanted to maximise the rooms space without it looking cluttered or too much. Previously the room was cluttered with toys, books and the existing desk just didn't fit the room.

The Solution

Using solid oak and our beautiful matt light grey cabinets, we created a space which was both perfect for working and reading. We wanted to create a cosy environment where the clients could unwind and chill but also be productive when working.

We wanted to bring a traditional feel with the shaker style doors and solid oak shelves and worktop.

We used brushed nickel knobs to match the door handle and continue the traditional feel. The desk was manufactured perfectly to sit just below the window sill and flush against each wall.

The desk features two cable tidies, a pop up socket and charger, Filing drawers and bespoke printer shelves. We also manufactured a matching PC monitor stand for the client.

We love working on home office projects and are becoming the 'go to' place for bespoke home office furniture. This project was a pleasure to work on and we are so pleased with the end result. The client now has a perfect space for relaxing, working or playing with the grandchildren."
