The Brief

After recently moving home, the client wanted to start to organise the children's playroom to avoid tripping and standing on toys and lego bricks all the time!

They wanted an area to store books, toys and a TV for when the children are slightly older.

The client wanted a modern and wow look to the space.

The Solution

We decided to use the existing double doorway to the kitchen as the feature and designed furniture to fit around this.

The furniture was made and measured to be exactly the perfect fit on either side of the doorway and above to frame the double doors. That way the client would have additional shelving space to use above the door which was previously wasted and unused.

The shelves, frame and doors are in our Indigo Navy with a supermatt smooth finish. The handles we chose were our Graf t bar knob with a knurled finish in dark brass. We are so pleased with how the combination of the blue and brass works and complimented each other.
