In today's 'meet the team' episode, we find out more about the Director at Wharfedale Interiors, Rhys Boven.
Name: Rhys Boven
Position: Director
Based in: Ilkley
1.) Tell us a bit more about your day-to-day role?
In a nutshell, I oversee everything to ensure we are doing the best we can on every project. I also work closely with our trade partners to develop the different divisions to the Wharfedale Group. My main goal is for our team and services to keep improving and developing.
2.) What's the best part of your role?
Obviously, seeing the end result we commission at Wharfedale is a real love of mine but helping my team to grow and better themselves is the best part. We are a very close-knit team that all have a common goal and ethos when it comes to projects. Ultimately, if we constantly are improving that means that our customers receive a better experience from Wharfedale Interiors.
3.) When you’re not at work, what would we catch you doing?
When not working you can find me on a golf course, spending time with my family or walking the dog (Bonnie the Cocker Spaniel)
4.) Your favourite bedroom wardrobe trend?
Definitely, the 4-panel shaker bedroom wardrobe with a cashmere matt door, with our Chelsea brass bar handles. The interiors I'd choose would be either our Opera Walnut or Lissa Oak.
5.) What does your dream kitchen look like?
My dream kitchen would be a contemporary shaker style kitchen with oak features and a large island. It would have to feature a Quooker tap, quartz sink and walk-in pantry.
6.) What advice would you give to someone renovating their bedroom or kitchen?
Take your time to plan every detail and go with the person you feel will do the best job instead of focusing too much on price. We receive 4-5 weekly requests to 'put right' work from other companies, so to avoid paying twice - do your research and visit their showroom or store beforehand.

Hard-working and passionate

Not really three words but... expert design, craftsmanship, and customer service.
